Where do you find most of your styling inspiration for interiors?
I actually find a lot of inspiration in my wardrobe. Fashion is such a fun way to test colour combinations. If you love wearing a certain palette, chances are you’ll love living in it too. It’s also a much easier and more budget-friendly way to explore bold choices before committing to them in your home.
Pinterest is another key tool for me. It’s where I start with most clients, not just to gather ideas, but to help them uncover their natural preferences. I find that the things people pin subconsciously say a lot about the style they’re really drawn to.

Who are some of your biggest design influences?
One of my biggest inspirations is Yinka Ilori. I had the pleasure of working with him and was so inspired by his fearless use of colour. His work is full of joy, culture and storytelling, and it really pushes the boundaries of what design can feel like.
I also deeply admire Ilse Crawford for her ability to create spaces that are both beautiful and deeply human. Her interiors are rooted in how people feel and live, and there’s a real emotional warmth in everything she does.

What is your top styling tip for the season ahead?
Embrace yellow. It’s the new neutral this season — warm, joyful and softly luminous. I especially love buttery yellow, which works beautifully across a wide range of rooms and styles.
For a bold but balanced palette, try layering yellow with deep burgundy and crisp blue. It brings a richness and energy to a space, while still feeling inviting and calm.
What’s your favourite TBCo product to style with?
The cushions. They’re such a simple way to refresh a space without committing to big changes. I love layering different colours and patterns to create depth and interest, whether it’s on a bed, a sofa or a favourite armchair. They’re perfect for switching things up seasonally or just adding personality to a corner.

What trends or ideas are you seeing emerge this season?
We’re seeing a real mix of bold colour and clean materials. Some of the key ones for me are:
• Buttery Yellow – soft, warm and grounding
• Chrome – sleek, reflective and contemporary
• Colour and Pattern Drenching – committing to a single colour or motif across an entire room
• Fresh Blues and Mint paired with Walnut and Chrome – a cool, calming palette with richness and contrast
There’s this exciting balance between warmth and modernity, and it’s leading to interiors that feel fresh, dynamic and full of personality.

What’s one timeless design rule you always come back to?
The 60/30/10 rule. It’s a simple formula but it never fails.
• 60 percent dominant colour — walls, large furniture or flooring
• 30 percent secondary colour — upholstery, curtains or statement pieces
• 10 percent accent colour — accessories, art or decorative details
It’s a go-to for creating balance and cohesion in any space.
Which city do you think has the best interior style?
I’ve been lucky enough to visit Milan, Paris and Marrakesh, and they’ve all shaped my design perspective in different ways.
Milan is bold and forward-thinking, especially during design week, where creativity spills onto every street.
Paris has that signature elegance. There’s such beauty in the contrast between its ornate history and modern design.
Marrakesh is endlessly inspiring. The colours, textures and craftsmanship in every tile and textile are breathtaking.
Each city brings something different — innovation, timelessness and fearless use of colour.
What styling detail makes the biggest impact in a room?
Lighting. It affects everything — the mood, the colours, even how big or small a space feels. If your lighting is off, even the most beautiful furniture can feel flat. But when it’s right, it elevates the entire space.
How would you describe your interior aesthetic in three words?
Authentic, storytelling and colourful.
What’s your most-loved piece at home?
It’s a painting by the artist Emily Powell. I bought it before I was even pregnant with my son Zac. The scene shows a polar bear delivering jam sandwiches by hot air balloon — it was inspired by a dream her daughter had.
That one piece ended up inspiring Zac’s entire nursery. The scalloped walls mimic the balloon shapes, and the palette of blues, yellows and pops of red came straight from the artwork. It makes me smile every time I walk in.
